For those who may have missed the backdoor
pilot that aired on Wednesday night during Chicago P.D., here’s what
Chicago Justice is about, per NBC: “Just like their brethren in the
Chicago P.D., the State’s Attorney’s dedicated team of prosecutors and
investigators navigates heated city politics and controversy head-on
while fearlessly pursuing justice. As they take on the city’s high
stakes and often media-frenzied cases, they must balance public opinion,
power struggles within the system and their unwavering passion for the
law.” The backdoor pilot for the series — which joins the ranks of
Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med — drew 6.8 million total
viewers and a 1.4 in the 18-49 demo, up 7 percent and 8 percent over
last week, respectively.
Wolf will executive-produce the series alongside Peter Jankowski, Matt Olmstead, Derek Haas, Michael Brandt, and Arthur Forney. As introduced during the backdoor pilot, the series will star Philip Winchester, Carl Weathers, Nazneen Contractor, Joelle Carter, and Ryan-James Hatanaka.
